Cafe World: Clean Your Neighbors Cafe
For a short time last evening, Cafe World released its’ latest feature to the game – the ability to clean your neighbors cafe.
It was a very short beta test, and it seems there were a few bugs, but the overall idea was ‘neat’!
If you logged in during the beta test, you would have seen:
We found 8 different spots throughout our cafe that needed cleaning. Each spot earned us:
- 1 CP
- 5 Coins
After cleaning up our messy cafe, we earned the opportunity to post to our wall asking for friends to also help clean, until it sparkles. Visiting your friends cafe’s allowed you to clean up to 5 dirty spots, each earning you:
- 2 CP
- 10 Coins
The next time we logged in, we received the following message:
Lolla had cleaned up the 5 dirty spots she found in our cafe. Each of those spots were now sparkling. It was now our turn to work again!
By clicking on the sparkling spots, our Buzz Rating went up 1 full point – from 105.0 to 110.0. As most players know by now, the higher your Buzz rating, the more patrons visit your cafe and the more coins you earn.
It seems that you will also be able to make the request twice. Looking through our Live Feed last evening, we also found this status message, indicating that additional cleaning was needed for a very dirty cafe 
Zynga, the developers of Cafe World, removed the cleaning features shortly after release. It seemed to be a short beta test, and according to their fan page “…a secret recipe we’ve been working on for the past few weeks needs a bit more time cooking…some of you may have experienced some trouble trying out one of our latest beta features.”
Hopefully they will get all the kinks out soon and bring the cleaning features back. However, it would be nice if they actually fixed the laggy and slow loading game first – before they give us additional tasks to do…

Cafe World ‘It’s Game Time’ Theme Brings Fish n Chips + Hotdog and Garlic Fries
A new theme has arrived to our Cafe World cafes – It’s Game Time!
Just in time for the NFL’s Super Bowl, this new theme allows any sports fan to deck out their cafe with a wide variety of new decorations, clothing, and two new dishes to cook – Fish n Chips and Hotdog and Garlic Fries.
Just a few of the new items available are new walls, Bar Stools, Pool Tables, Foos Tables, Arcade Tables, Arcade Machines, Mounted Jerseys, Super Big Screen TV, Payphones, and my favorite….a Rootbeer Tap!

In addition to the new menu items and decorations, there are 3 new limited time gifts to send your friends and neighbors; Peanuts, Jalapeno Poppers and a Bowl of Salsa. Both items are a One Time Serve, but are a ‘must have’ for any sports party!

Cafe World Extravagant 14×16 Expansion Arrives
Finally, a new phase has been released to us in Cafe World – the 14×16 expansion!
The cost will be a heafty 999,999 coins, or 35 CW$. Considering we have been waiting a while for this, it should be too difficult for many to come up with the coins required. After earning 24 per serving with the Seasonal Hams, and 99 per serving on the VIP Dinner, everyone should be rolling in dough – literally!
Along with the expansion, the Alien Invasion continues with new items available to decorate your cafes, and 3 new limited dishes available to gift. At the time of posting, there are no new recipes, but we will certainly keep our eyes open for something fresh.
The giftables are 1 time serves, and are called: Alien Sushi, Eyesee Donut and Green Goo Fizzy Pop.

Cafe World Tip: How To Stop Your Cafe From Freezing
Does your Cafe World cafe keep freezing up every time to you log in to serve food? The most likely cause is the number of people walking around your cafe. Moving objects in these types of games take a tremendous amount of server resources – especially when millions of people are playing it at once.
To help stop your cafe from freezing up, as soon as your cafe page opens, click on the Chair icon, and remove your doors. Prep up your menu, serve out dishes, stock your counters, and then replace your doors.
This tip results in less pop ups, almost zero freezing, and only takes a few extra seconds to do. Good luck! Read more

Cafe World just announced that a new 5 course Mystery Dish will be released this week!
As of yet, we have no idea what it could possibly be, how long it will take to cook, or what Cafe levels will have access to it. But, as soon as we know the scoop, we will be updating this post!
Also stated on Cafe Worlds’ Fan page is that “something special is coming for our VIP players”. We have no confirmation yet as to who qualifies as a VIP player, but we suspect the surprise may be recipes available only to those willing to pay Cafe Cash – makes sense considering the free Cafe Cash they gave out during the past week. Hopefully everyone saved their $$!

The VIP Dinner has been released to ALL players Level 4 and above. It is FREE to cook, has an 18 hour time, and serves 99. Here are the details as we know them so far:

One of the best things about the Facebook game called Cafe World is that you have the ability to customize your cafe in so many ways. But you need to be aware that the way you lay out the seating will go a long way toward determining whether or not your cafe will succeed!
Access to Seating is Crucial
Firstly, you need to arrange the furniture so customers can get to all of the available tables and chairs. If your furniture is arranged in such a way that customers can’t reach an open seat, they’ll get frustrated and leave.
Similarly, if you don’t have enough seating, you’ll lose customers. People tend to forget this as they’re so busy getting food prepared and served, but efficient cooking and serving is useless if potential customers don’t have anywhere to sit.
Give Waiters Easy Access
Customers won’t wait around too long once they sit down. If they’re not served quickly, they’ll leave. So your waiter or waitress needs to have fast, efficient access to all the tables. If it is hard for the wait staff to get from the serving counters to some of the tables, you’re going to lose customers.

You can keep your customers in the cafe longer by giving them a long path to their seats. Combine this with a shorter path from the serving counters to the tables, and your wait staff will have lots of time to complete their serving cycles.

On Monday October 26th, Zynga announced it’s new Super Sliders Event, being that once Cafe World reaches 1,000,000 fans, they will introduce a new Super Sliders menu option into the game.
Surprisingly, with over 26 million players, they have only just surpassed the 1/2 million mark, with 515,169 as of this posting. This could be due to the fact the announcement was made ON the fan page!
Zynga is obviously hoping for some viral assistance, so let’s give it to them and share this post with your friends
