Top 10 Facebook Applications For November 2, 2009
As I predicted last week, we saw some interesting movement in this weeks Top 10 Facebook Applications. While FarmVille continues to hold onto the top spot, gaining a handful of new users over the past week, Mafia Wars has been bumped from it’s normal #3 spot, in favor of the latest rage – Cafe World.
I am sure Zynga doesn’t mind, since they own all three; FarmVille, Mafia Wars and Cafe World, but they seem to have some competition creeping up behind them from last weeks biggest gainer – Happy Aquarium. They jumped from #10 last week to #5 this week. Both Cafe World and Happy Aquarium gained a little over 4 million active monthly users each.
Happy Aquarium is developed by CrownStar, a new developer to the Facebook scene. With no other active games or applications on record for them, I am sure the success they have experienced so far will encourage more from them.
The remainder of the list contains the usual suspects, with just a little jostling for position; Causes, Pet Society, Farm Town, YoVille, Texas Hold’em Poker, and We’re Related.

ive played quite a few of them, the best one has to be farmville but i agree a few good new ones are starting to be produced.
