FrontierVille: How To Collect The Independence Day Collection

In celebration of the USA’s Independence Day on July 4th, FrontierVille has released a Limited Edition collection: the Independence Day Collection. The 5 items required will earn you the limited edition Liberty Bell to place on your homestead.

Here is how you collect the 5 items required:

Cannonball - from feeding Chickens
Powder Horn – from chopping neighbors’ Pine Trees and Oak Trees
Tricorne Hat – from collecting the daily bonus at your Cabin, General Store, Barn, Schoolhouse, Inn, Wagon, Chicken Coop or Sawmill
Tea Crate – from clearing Grass
Snare Drum – by clobbering or scaring Snakes, Bears, Ground Hogs and Foxes

Thanks to all the Insiders who helped us determine this!

The Powder Horn must not be available then. because ive chopped down the whole top layer of my frontier and spent 1000 food for energy to continue… !!!!!

I received the cannonball from tending my own chickens.

Can you get the Crate and Horn from tending your own Grass and Trees?

As for the Horn, does it work if you clear skulls, stones and wildflowers as well?

Yes, you can earn the crate from clearing your own grass, but the horn is from “blessing” oak and pine trees, which means tending neighbor pine and oaks.

There was a slight delay when I completed it as well. I suggest logging out, waiting an hour or so then logging back in. It will most likely have kicked in at that point. It may take a few moments for the “Completed” banner to appear with your rewards.

Same with me Wendy and Alicia. The only thing I’ve gotten is a drum from tending my own animals. NOTHING from tending in neighbors and I’ve done them all as many times as it will let me in the last two days….still nothing. What else is there to do???

I have everything except for the stupid Tricorne Hat still. I don’t think the game is giving many out. I think the majority of us will never be able to finish this collection.

I have 2 tricorne hats but no powder horn. Plus, I finally found all the poo and crafted the fireworks, then it said I lost an internet connection. When it came back, my fireworks were gone and so was the last piece of poo I needed (prairie) They better work these bugs out quick.

It’s really impossible to get horn and hat for July 4th collection!!!! Been chopping down neighbors’ trees and got nothing! I don’t think I’ll ever get the Liberty Bell. They should extend the deadline.

I have been tending (chopping) neighbors trees since the start, i have spoken to all my neighbors who have alsom done the same…none of my friends nor i have yet to see the stupid horn…honestly i think they must have forgotten to put it in game, thats the only explaination!

I too cannot seem to find the darn thing either, but have spoken with some of my neighbors and they cannot get the tricorne. The horn came easy but no hat. It seems we all are having a tough time getting one of the two…

    lol

I’ll never get 10 cotton and 20 cherry trees though.
:\ well i did pretty good 3 out of 4

Chopped 40x neighbors trees two days in a row to try and get the horn or whatever
    nope

    these quests are hard

Well, since they extended the time you should be ok now. Start that cotton up and plant those cherry trees!

  11. Mari says:

Ryan, I was able to harvest other neighbours cotton as well as my own. It didn’t show up on my task list until I logged out and back in though. I harvested my own cherry trees, I only had 3 but they ripen every 8 minutes. Ask your neighbours to tend your cotton plants so it speeds up the harvest time.

Still looking for the elusive collection though

These are rough, and i’m not entirely sure i’ll be able to complete them. I’ve got only a handful of friends who play, but I shall persevere and should it happen that I do not complete the quests, then I shall only be slightly sad and strive to complete the next quest.
